EPDM Roofing in Oklahoma City, OK

EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer — synthetic rubber) was the dominant commercial flat-roof membrane through the 1990s and 2000s, and remains the right answer for a meaningful share of OKC commercial buildings. It's more UV-stable than TPO, takes hail impact better than thinner membranes, and has the longest field track record of any single-ply system.

For buildings where the cooling-cost penalty of black EPDM matters but the longevity advantage matters more, white EPDM (with a factory-applied white surface coating) splits the difference. It's a smaller market share — most installers stock black EPDM and TPO — but we install both, and white EPDM is occasionally the right answer.
